She even gave me a "Ta Da" for the picture!!
Thanks, Stacey, for all the goodies!! Kendall's enjoying all of it!!

Since I had some help, I actually got a lot of pictures. Yay!! Here's Kendall on the beam........
One of the skills for the day......Working on jumping up onto the mat with both feet together.
And then a "Ta Da" afterwards! Ms. Patty was so proud!! Apparently Kendall was too. The "Ta Da" was NOT part of the skill of the day! Ha!
Then, Kendall hung onto the rings, for the first time. The rings sorta scared her. So, it was brief. But, at least she tried it.
Another skill for the day.......
They had to get a bean bag. (Kendall wanted the entire box. So, this was a challenge in itself! Ha!)
Then, they had to put the bean bag in between their knees & hang from the bars without dropping their bean bag.
She actually hung onto the bars for a long time. I was so proud of her. Her little hands are barely big enough to hold on. But, she did it!! She got big cheers when she was done!!!
Getting ready to do some somersaults. I was trying to get her to start from a standing position. But, my little stubborn princess was NOT cooperating! Ha!
Then, they got the balls out. They worked on throwing, kicking, rolling, etc.
Here's Kendall throwing her ball to Grammy!!
Then, it was bubble time. Ms. Patty had asked the kids to do a skill (point their toes, straddle, etc. ) to earn their bubbles. But, none of them were listening & they all started lifting up their shirts! Ha!
After she got her bubbles, she was off.........Not wanting to do the group activities on the big red mat! Ha!! They all were super distracted this day & a ton of them ran off!
My little runaway decided to come back & join us. We worked on pointing our toes, pikes, straddles, etc. Kendall has started doing standing straddles at home. It's super cute watching her prepare for her straddle. I'll have to get a picture!! It's SO cute!!
Then, we got our bells & sang our good-bye song. (Good-bye you big beasts!) Her class is called "The Beasts"
Then, time to sanitize & get our stamps! Patiently waiting her turn!

Earlier this week Grammy & I took Kendall to her favorite toy store. They just put up a new Sesame Street display & stocked it up with a ton of new Sesame Street toys. Kendall had most of the toys. But, she did manage to pick up a new Abby Cadabby wand & Zoe doll. Like she needed more!! Ha!
Kendall quickly discovered that the display (school bus) lit up & played the Sesame Street theme song when you hit the button. She LOVED it!! She'd hit the button & dance around the store.
The toy store owners thought she was adorable & didn't mind hearing Sunny Days over and over and over again!!
After our play time in the toy store, we went next door for lunch. They offer free ice cream! Kendall was one happy little girl!!
Posted at 06:57 PM | Permalink | Comments (0) | TrackBack (0)
Kendall was asking, "Birds go?". (She saw a bird fly by!) I just love all her little expressions! She's just so stinkin cute!!
Then, we went shopping!! We hit up some great sales at Gymboree (Kendall's favorite store!..........Okay, Maybe it's my favorite store to buy clothes for Kendall! Ha!). Then, off to lunch. Kendall was so excited to get some balloons.
It's amazing how happy she gets over balloons! Can you see the huge smile behind the balloons??
Then, she was posing for a picture with Grammy.
This is Kendall's famous pose.....the little head tilt & smile....never looking at the camera! Ha!
Kendall was all smiles with her Grammy, whom she's started calling "Mimi". Kendall already has a "Mimi"......my step-mom. But, hasn't managed to learn how to say "Grammy". It's gone from "Am-me" to "Mimi". I guess Mimi is easier to say.........Maybe Mimi sounds kinda like Grammy, to Kendall. Anyway, we're still calling Grammy, Grammy. Let's just hope Kendall catches on soon!!
Then, a few pics with Mommy!! But, she wasn't about to stop drinking her milk. Priorities........... milk? or picture?? Hmmmm, I'll choose Milk.
After lunch, shopping, & a good nap Kendall was ready to play!! We spent a several hours outside. Kendall was dancing & singing.......entertaining us all!!
In this picture she had just finished, Gave us a big "Ta Da", and then she bowed (That's her new thing.!)
Her Daddy was so proud of her performance. She got lots of hugs & kisses!!
Then, time to play!! She LOVES running back & forth,up & down the driveway.......racing with her Daddy. She says, "Run Fast, Daddy" or "Ready, Set, Go!". It's so cute.
Then, is was time for a fun game of football!!
Daddy's going in for the tackle!
Kendall decided to make up her own game. It's called, I'll Fall Down For No Reason & Ask For Help Game! Ha! She just started falling to the ground and saying "Help Please".......notice her hand out, just waiting for help! She did this over and over again......That's the reason for her Daddy's expression. Ha!
Looks like the football game is back on!! Run Kendall, Run!!
And she's getting tackled again!! She LOVES when her Daddy catches her!!
Touchdown!! We have a winner!!!
Yay!! Big Hugs for the winner!!
After the football game, it was time to get dressed for Trick-or-treating!! The guys stayed home to hand out candy & FRY UP SOME CATFISH!! Yum!! (This was just the beginning! They made a ton!!). Gotta love a fish fry!! Fried fish, jalapeno hush puppies, & french fries!! SO GOOD!!
What a fun & Happy Halloween!! We hope you had a great one too!!

Paw Paw had been telling Kendall that he was gonna bring her some M&M's. So, every time we mentioned them coming Kendall would say "Paw Paw N-M's". She obviously hadn't forgotten because that was one of the first things she asked for when she saw him!!
She was super excited to get her "N-M's"

This was Kendall's 3rd Halloween. But, by far, the Best!! She was finally old enough to enjoy it. Kendall had been playing football in the yard with her Daddy & enjoying the outdoors with everyone (Grammy, Paw Paw, Jimmy & I) for a good 2 hours. It was finally time to get dressed in her costume & she didn't want to go inside. Once I told her she got to wear her costume & wings, she was super excited. Kendall walked outside to show Paw Paw & Daddy her new costume.
When we walked out in the driveway, I told Kendall to watch for her BFF, Rylie!! I think she spotted her!!
Kendall was super excited to see her BFF, Rylie, & her parents (Ashlee & David) heading towards our house.
She was so excited. She ran out to meet them. She hadn't even gotten her shoes on yet!! But, she didn't care. Off to meet Rylie!!!
Rylie looked super cute. She was dressed up like a cute little witch.
"Come on, Rylie. Let's go get candy!!"
Once Rylie got to our house, I gave her some candy. Kendall noticed what I had done and went to get Rylie some more candy..........
and some more candy...............
and some more candy.................
I'm quite sure that Kendall thought that "Trick-or-Treat" meant filling up Rylie's basket. The first few houses we went to, Kendall tried to put her candy in Rylie's basket! Ha! She finally figured out the goal to trick-or-treating! He He!!
We tried to get some cute pics of the girls together.
Wasn't nearly as easy as last year, when we could just prop them up on the grass! (Look how they've changed!! WOW!!!)
After the pictures, we were off to go trick-or-treating.
We just took the girls to a few of our neighbors homes. But, they loved it!!
Kendall walked up to the first door, and turned around, looking at us! ha! She wasn't quite sure what to do.
Then, the young girl (who was dressed in her costume) gave Kendall some candy. I love Kendall's expression.
"If I'm not suppose to give my candy to Rylie, What do I do with this?"
Then, we went to the next house. "Hmmmmmm, I wonder who will answer the door here!"
My neighbor took a picture of Kendall as we were at her door.
Then, we were off to the next house. Kendall was still a little unsure about this whole Trick-or-Treat business!! But, she was eager to keep going!!
All of our neighbors were so excited to see a cute little witch & fairy!
Somehow, Kendall got stuck in the middle of the pack (with some of the neighbor kids)......and Rylie got stuck in the back of the pack with Grammy. Ha!
At Mrs. Jan & Mr. Doug's house (Our Sweet, sweet, sweet, next door neighbors!)
Then, it was time to head home. A quick pic with Mommy........
Kendall was sweet & gave Rylie a hug good-bye. But, I missed the picture. This is all I got!!
Thanks Rylie (& Family) for going Trick-or-Treating with us. It was fun!! But, time to head home!!
Kendall really enjoyed helping hand out candy. She would run up to the driveway & just stare at the kids.
Then, Kendall got busy digging in all the candy. She started filling up her Elmo basket with our big bowl of candy. He He!! I guess she didn't think that she got enough.
Gotta give Daddy some candy too. Awwwww, sweet kisses, in exchange!!
In between handing out candy, Kendall did manage to eat dinner........on the RUN!! She was way too busy to slow down!
Then, it was CANDY time!! Kendall's Daddy gave her M&M's, her favorite!!
Then, Daddy got more kisses because he gave Kendall MORE CANDY!!
...............and MORE CANDY!!
We had one HAPPY little fairy on our hands!!
After the trick-or-treating was over, it was time to come inside, take a bath, & head off to bed. Kendall thought Zoe needed some candy too!! (Notice the wings & costume are still on! She wouldn't take off her costume!!)
What a fun night!! I would say it was a super successful Halloween!!

Sorry.......super blurry! She was clapping & dancing around.
Then, she decided to not participate in the group activities and go climb! (They all tend to stray away from time to time. So, she's not the only distracted child! he he!).
After a little climbing time, she decided to join the group again. They inflated this huge mat.....kinda like the inside of a bounce house, just bigger. All the kids got to work on jumping, somersaults, etc.
She was a little timid at first, since she fell down. But, decided it was pretty cool!
In the picture above, notice the large donut shaped mat in the background?? Well, the challenge skill for the day was, a fun one!! Kendall got to lay on top of it and roll on it until she was head first, almost on the ground. She then, put her hands down, and did a somersault. It was scary, at first, but she LOVED it. Very fun!! (Again, no pics......since I was holding her onto the mat!)
Kendall kept climbing on to this bar and saying "Hors Eeeee". Apparently she was riding a horse! Ha!
In the picture above, notice the octagon shaped mats behind her?? Another skill for the day was to lay backwards on this mat, and they got to roll back, and do back handsprings. Kendall loved this one too!! (NOPE, no pics!.....spotting her, again!)
After all the fun activities, it was bubble time. Showing off her belly!!
Little Gym is a ton of fun. Kendall's really enjoying it!! Anyone wanna sign up for spring with us???? Kendall would LOVE to have some of her friends in the class!!!

Kendall was so excited to see Rylie. She ran up and gave her a big hug!!
My Cutie Pie!!
Chatting with Rylie about their pumpkins!
Kendall's pulling her friends in the wagon!!
Kendall's already chasing boys!! Wow, it's starting early!!
More Wagon Time!!

Then, Kendall got to play with Owen & the wagon. Owen was so sweet & tried to pull Kendall around. He did a good job too!!
Then, it was Kendall's turn to pull her friends in the wagon. I have one strong little girl!! She was actually able to pull both of them around. She LOVED It!
I did get a few Pumpkin Pics.........VERY FEW!!
Kendall refused to smile with Mommy!! Oh well, I tried!!
Maybe next year's pumpkin patch will get me more smiles!

Then, it was time for lunch. Kendall preferred to play with Nana's phone....& look at pictures of her & Ruff Ruff!
Cookie Time!! Kendall can always manage to find time for a Cookie! Ha! Our little Cookie Monster!!

We were all Zoe'd out the other day (Zoe's on her shirt too!). But, Kendall insisted on wearing her RED ELMO shoes!! If she didn't look so stinking cute, It would have been a BIG NO NO! He He.
Kendall was so adorable. Her & Zoe enjoyed some "Cha Chit" milk..........just like a big girl!
She's growing up so fast!!

Kendall LOVES lunches with Nana. She gets to play with Nana & Nana ALWAYS buys her a super big cookie!!
Here Kendall was saying, "Thank you, NANA!"
Then, we went to the boutique next door. Kendall picked out a Princess Crown purse w/ pink poodle.
Kendall loves this little "Ruff Ruff" and has been carrying it around all the time.

On a more exciting note, I got 2 dozen roses!!

The other day I was playing with Kendall's hair and I asked her if she wanted her hair to look like Zoe's. Her answer was, YES!!!
Kendall LOVES putting her hair up like Zoe!! We've just started fixing her hair like this and she's asked if she can have Zoe hair every morning!
Kendall was admiring her hair!! ......... Looking at her reflection in the oven door! He He!

Kendall was so excited to put it on. She ran around the house with the hood on. She didn't want to take it off.

Stopping for a quick pic before walking on the beam. One of the skills for the day was walking forward, then sideways, & then backwards on the beam. Kendall wasn't too thrilled with walking backwards on it. But, she did it anyway!
She did hold onto the uneven bars & swing her legs up onto the other bar........very exciting!! NO PICTURES..........I was spotting her! :(
Kendall really enjoyed the group activities. They used paddles & bean bags to do different skills. This was really hard for them. But, she had fun with it anyway.
Then, they got to play with the balls. They were suppose to swing at them......like golf! Kendall was really good at this. She needed NO HELP from me.
She was all over the place........busy hitting all the stray balls rolling around!
After this, they all sat on their ball. Kendall's never been interested in doing this in the past. But, yesterday she did it. They usually do different skills on the ball (working on balance). She did great with this!
Then, it was bubble time. Here she is catching the bubbles!!
After bubbles it's time to get hand sanitizer, sit against the wall, & wait to get their special stamps (on their hands & feet).
My Big Girl's waiting her turn!! So Sweet!!

Kendall was so intrigued by the pumpkins. She would NOT look at me or smile.
She wanted to touch them, attempted to pick up the really big ones, and loved carrying around all of the little pumpkins!!
I finally got her to look at me. But, NO SMILE!! HA!
Kendall had so much fun just playing with the pumpkins. She did NOT want to leave. So, she's looking forward to going back again, SOON!!

Today was SO nice out. I woke up early and enjoyed a jog outside.....mid 50's!! It felt so nice. It warmed up a lot. But, it was still Fall-like outside. So, Kendall finally got to wear some of her new pants & cute shirt (that were bought for her months & months ago!!). Anyway, reason enough to pull out the camera.
Giggles for Daddy......
Kendall was all into doing "Ta Da" today too. Everything earned a "Ta Da" today. Here's a "Ta Da" for chocolate chip cookies..........
Then, we went outside. I finally put out my fall decorations. I was waiting for it to stop raining and actually feel like fall. Kendall propped Zoe up so she could sit with Scarecrow. Then, it was.........
"Ta Da"!

We had a super busy Saturday. Jimmy got up EARLY and did a 5K Fun Run for work, while Kendall & I slept in. I guess I can't say "sleep in" since Kendall woke up EARLY and got in bed with me. Then, just as we got back to sleep, the phone rang.......Thanks Mom! He He! That's okay. I needed to get up anyway. Kendall got to sleep in while I got up and did things around the house. Then, we got ready for Rylie's party. I managed to not get hardly any cute pictures. So, here are the few!
They had a fun popcorn machine. Kendall's first popcorn, EVER!! She loved it!!
After nap time, we thought we'd take Kendall to the park to swing. So, we load up the wagon and head out. We get there to find that someone has decided that the neighborhood park would be the perfect spot for their child's birthday party. They've managed to hang balloons from all of the swings, have lawn chairs surrounding the park, and it's covered with family, friends, & kids. I guess they thought it was free to host parties there as well..........NOT THE CASE!! So, we just went for a walk & came home to play.
First it was the tri-cycle............
Then, Kendall got to enjoy her special outdoor beverage. (Jimmy & I like to have an adult beverage in the evening as we sit outside. So, I bought Kendall a fun drink too!........Grape Kool-aid!! She loved it!!
It was totally worth a "Ta Da"!............
Then, Kendall wanted to driver her Hummer around.
She mainly wanted to drive it into the street & then hop in and out of it. She left her poor Daddy stranded!!
Once she got back in the car, she preferred to drive it "Hands Free". She is one reckless driver!!
Before we ordered Pizza......since NO ONE was gonna even think about cooking tonight, I got a lot of big hugs & Eskimo kisses. Kendall calls them "Elmo Kisses".
What a fun, but eventful day!! Thank goodness for a restful Sunday ahead!!

Kendall's new thing............
She does something and then says "Ta Da!" and spreads her arms out. Here was a "Ta Da" moment.......or two!
Then, this afternoon, I was having my little model test out some new flower clips that I've added to my Too Cute Site. She was being super silly. Isn't my model & the flower clips, TOO CUTE??

Today I got up at 6:30 to work on an order........5 T-shirts, bows to match them all, bloomers, etc. I tend to get a lot done while The Princess is asleep. So, early morning & nap time is pretty much when I have time to sew. I sewed all day except to take a lunch break with Nana! We were happy to get out of the house & head to our favorite sandwich shop!! (Yes, it's mid October & Kendall's wearing a tank dress!! IT'S STILL HOT IN TEXAS!!!)
Nana bought Kendall a huge Cookie & she was super excited about eating it. She ate very little lunch. But, managed to eat a LOT of cookie!!
Thanks for Lunch!! We enjoyed our break!

Today Kendall had her Little Gym class. She did awesome!!
(A LOT of the pictures are blurry! Sorry, she was moving WAY TOO FAST for me. I have to spot her so much that bringing my good camera won't work either. But, the pictures were too cute to not post, right?? Anyone want to come to class and be our photographer?? He He)
The floor time was geared towards building their independence. Ms. Patty asked that the parents not participate unless the child wouldn't participate without us. Kendall's pretty clingy, especially in these type of settings. So, I didn't know what to expect. But, she jumped right in. She stopped by to check on me a few times. But, for the most part, she was doing all of the activities on her own. They did stuff like running, jumping, hops, kicks, etc.
Then, we did a group activity with the parachute. Kendall LOVED getting to hold the parachute & run with it.
Then, she got to shake it ..........
and jump up & down with it too. VERY FUN for her!
Then, it was Free Exploration time. Kendall ran right away to the beam. She's been standing on my sewing boxes and saying "I'm beam." (I'm walking on the beam.) Too Cute!!
Climbing onto the beam......
That's all the pictures I got of the gymnastics stuff. She's so busy climbing, running, etc. I have to watch her like a hawk.............which is why I need a photographer!! He He. Anyway, today Kendall held onto the high bar for a good amount of time, without letting go. She worked on balance, jumpin down from high platforms, hopping over objects, backwards rolls, hand stands, & She can now do her somersaults on her own.
At the end of class the kids get bubbles on their bellies. It's just a fun thing that they look forward to. Last week Kendall was a little shy. This week, she was ready, and patiently waiting for her bubbles!!
After the bubbles on their bellies, they have to do a hand stand to get bubbles on their feet. I didn't hear Ms. Patty say that & I look up & Kendall's got her hands & head down, ready to go!! Just waiting on Mommy to help her! She was anxious for her bubbles!
Here she is getting more bubbles!!

I asked her how many cats she had on her shirt. She pointed to each one and said, "One, Two" and then pointed to her bow (which has a cat in the center) and said, "Three". Is she not a smarty pants, or what??
Showing me her CATS!!
Then, she decided to do a little dance for me. She said she was twirling like Abby........
After the little dance, it was time to meet Nana for lunch. I was telling Nana all about how good Kendall's gotten at counting. She can typically count objects up to about 8. Sometimes she stops at 4 and sometime she skips 5. But, she can do it. Anyway, after lunch, we got out some of Kendall's PINK M&M's and Kendall was showing Nana how she counts them. Kendall wasn't really interested in counting. She just wanted to eat them.
But, she was willing to share & gave Nana one too.
That's enough counting. Let's just eat the rest!!
Thanks for lunch Nana! We enjoyed it!

Nana & Grandy wanted to give Kendall her gift when they could come over, put it together for her, & enjoy playing with Kendall. So, they came over today for some of my Hubby's famous ribs & playtime with Kendall. Nana brought in the Kendall's toy, sat it down, and ran to get something really quickly in the other room. Kendall was alone with the gift for all of 2 seconds! We all looked up and Little Miss Priss had started ripping into her gift (See the corner!). I grabbed the camera quickly as Nana was explaining to Grandy & Daddy how Kendall was ready to open her gift! Ha..........
Caught in the act! She even looks guilty, doesn't she??
We went ahead and let her open the gift since she obviously wasn't gonna wait.
Hugs for Nana. But, no smiles for Mommy!
Daddy & Grandy put it together.....
While Kendall enjoyed playing with all the accessories!............and fed Ruff Ruff a tomato!
Then, it was time to play!! Kendall made Nana dinner!
and fed Scarecrow too!!
Oh, and Ruff Ruff needed something to eat too.
Kendall & Nana spent a LONG time playing with this little kitchen in the toy store months ago. So, Kendall was very excited to see this particular kitchen again!! Great gift, Nana & Grandy! Thanks!
Kendall hopped up into Nana & Grandy's lap for some hugs & kisses!! Ruff Ruff gave her LOTS too!
Thanks Grandy & Nana for the Kitchen, spending the day with us, & Yummy Brownies!! We had a great time with ya'll. Kendall LOVES her KITCHEN & loves her big bag of PINK M&M's too!!

So, I get this email last weekend from an OB/GYN's office. They were looking for someone to make "Prince" & "Princess" burp cloths. Apparently Mud Pie Co. isn't making them anymore and they give them to the new Mommies. So, after exchanging several emails, I have an order for 45 burp cloths, needed ASAP, with a cute tag line embroidered on the back "A Royal Delivery". Me, being the type of person that I am, had to get started right away and wanted to finish them, right away. So, I started on the embroidery Thursday afternoon & evening, sewed most of Friday, All DAY Saturday, and a large part of Sunday as well. It took 30 minutes to embroider the front of EACH one, 10 minutes to embroider the back, about 5 hours to cut the extra threads/stabilizers, etc. off of all of them, 2 days off & on to sew the 90 ribbons on, and about an hour to iron and tie the bows on. But, I'm DONE!!!........Exhausted! But, done!!
She wanted to stick with pinks/blues. So, there's not a huge variety in the colors. But, I tried. ALL 45 of them are totally different!! Apparently, they always deliver more girls than boys!! She only wanted 20 of the boys!
Did I mention that the OB/Gyn's office that ordered these turned out to be the doctor that I used in Bryan/College Station when I lived there?? She found my site by searching "Cute Burp Cloths" on the internet! Small world, huh?? Hopefully some of my pregnant B/CS friends will get to enjoy one these soon!!

Jimmy really enjoyed getting to teach Kendall how to ride it. (I took a quick sewing break to snap some pictures! I didn't want to miss the excitement either!!)
She's gonna love riding on this!! What a good idea, Babe!!

Kendall's friend, Rylie, is starting school soon. So, Kendall wanted to get her a little something. I ran across this cute backpack the other day and thought it would be the perfect gift. The pocket zips down low enough that I could embroider on it (I typically can't.). So, I was anxious to try it out.
I've been really busy with Birthday portraits, appointment, Too Cute orders, etc. that we haven't had a lot of free time for lunch & play dates. So, Rylie came over to get her gift.....& got to play for a little while too. Kendall was still in her pj's (Ha!) and opened the gift for Rylie!
Here's Kendall...........opening Rylie's gift for her! Lil Booger!

Here are just a few of the ones I bought. I'll be posting more throughout the next few weeks too!
I just thought her expression was so cute in this picture............candid & cute!
So, dainty!! I LOVE B&W pictures!!
This picture was fun & different from any of her past pictures!! We had a great photographer!!
Every time we go, I always take a few pictures with Kendall. Mommy's Baby Girl!!!
Look Who's 2!! Kendall's holding a red, glittery "2" in her hand. She preferred playing with it instead of showing us that she was 2!!
Big smiles from my sweet Kendall!
Someone always asks................We had her pictures made at Portrait Innovatations. They take a ton of pictures, you pick out the ones you want to buy, they print them in 20 minutes, and you get all the pics on a disk as well. We LOVE Portrait Innovations!! Also, They are all over the U.S. So, I'm sure there's probably one near all of you!!

Kendall is following the directions & beating her sticks together!!
Doing her Donkey Kicks....which turned into rolling & twisting around on the floor.
(FYI- this is an example of being a Photoshop Rookie! Kendall's diaper was showing in the picture. So, I tried to fix it. Ha!! After spending way too much time trying to make this look better, I gave up. )
After this they have free exploration time. Kendall's FAVORITE!! They are free to roam around the gym & do their own thing.
Kendall ran up to the beam. She practically ran across it without even watching where she was going.
She tested out the tall beam this time too. (Not the best photo since I'm spotting her. But, better than nothing.)
After they do free exploration for 10 minutes or so, the kids learn a few new skills to work on. Today was handstands on the bar, backward rolls, dips on the beam.
Kendall loved the handstands. She'd do it, and clap afterwards! Here she is getting ready for Mommy to spot her in her handstand!!! (It's blurry because she's jumping around!!)
Climbing onto the bars again.....
Burning off more steam.........running to the next activity!
After the skills of the day, the kids go back to the mat. They do some ball, bubble type activities. But, I love how they incorporate skills with it. The kids have to do a kick, jump, roll, etc. along with the "playing". So, that's a fun twist. Then, it's time to get sanitizer & stamps!! Yay!! for a great first class!! Kendall's already looking forward to class next week!!!

I'm sure you're wondering what in the world a Hummer, Scarecrow, & Hamburger Buns have in common...........Pure Entertainment for one little girl!
Kendall has been toting around this scarecrow for a week now. She has introduced "Scarecrow" to all of her Sesame Street friends, fed him, loved on him, & told him all sorts of secrets. She even climbed into her toy basket with scarecrow to watch cartoons this morning!
The other night when I got out of the shower, I walked into the kitchen to check on dinner. This is what I saw......... Apparently Scarecrow wanted to see how the green bean casserole was doing. Kendall was nowhere around! Ha!
Kendall's Daddy bought her a new Hummer. (We traded in the Jeep for a Newer & MORE COOL model!). It rained most of the weekend &/or the mosquitos are really bad. So, she's not gotten a chance to really drive it!
Even though it's been yucky out, Kendall's still enjoyed playing in her new car. She loves climbing in & out of it, honking the horn, & hitting all the buttons. It was raining outside. So, Jimmy brought it inside. Kendall immediately loaded it up!!
I think she had planned to drive to the lake because she insisted on taking the hamburger buns for the ducks. (Notice Scarecrows along for the ride too!)
By the time she was through, I think she had: Zoe, Abby, Scarecrow, 1 pack of hamburger buns, her blanket, 2 Elmo bowls, a plate, sippy cup, & a few other odds & ends. Apparently they were gonna go have a picnic!
Change of subject........Kendall was going around all day showing us her Abby shirt. She'd spread her arms out really wide, like this. But, once the camera popped out, she was not budging!! So, Daddy helped out. She LOVES her new Abby shirt & insisted on wearing one all weekend!!!! Isn't cute??

Cute:
Everything seems to be "CUTE" now. She'll point to something and say, Cute Elmo, Cute Back, Cute Nose, etc. Everything is "CUTE"!
Prayers: When she says her prayers, in the past, it was a bunch of mumbling. Now, she's added the words Mommy & Daddy in with the mumbling. It's sweet to know that she's praying for us!! Oopsie Daisy: The other day, she dropped a toy in the bath and said, "oopsie daisy"! Where did she learn that one?? I guess from me! ha!
Bless You: She has picked up that we always say "Bless you" after someone sneezes. Sunday night Jimmy sneezed, Kendall was playing on floor, piped up and said, "Bless you, Daddy.". She later covered her nose, pretended to sneeze and said, "Bless you, Kul Kul" (She calls herself Kul Kul)
Brush your teeth:
She use to say something like "I me gush" when it was time to brush her teeth. Last night she actually said, "Brush your teeth" when she was asking her Daddy if he was gonna go brush his teeth with us. It's a family event every night! He He
One More, Daddy:
You know how every child eventually learns to beg their parents to let them have just one more cookie, or one more minute of tv time, etc. Well, somehow Kendall has learned that at AGE 2!! The other night Jimmy & I were in Kendall's room playing. Jimmy was singing the "C is for Cookie" song and Kendall was dancing around, LOVING IT!! He sang it about 4 times. Then, Kendall held up her pointer finger and said, "One More, Daddy?". Ha!! We were shocked. I told him he was gonna have to sing it one more time because she was just too smart! Ha!!
This is the last of the "Ever So Exciting" birthday shirts! I think this is shirt & bow #6!! I know my husband will be so sad to see this. He's quite positive that I've made her at least one for every day of the year! Ha!! Anyway, this was my lame try at photoshop! It took me all of 2 minutes to make this and Iron it on! ha! I thought it looked pretty cute, even for a Rookie Photoshopper!!!

Last weekend we had a family outing to the Texans Game. It was fun, although they LOST, again!! Kendall got her picture taken with the cheerleaders again this year. She was way more interested in their pom poms than smiling for the camera.
Before the game, we taught Kendall how to say, "Go Texans!". The Texans first big play of the game, and what did she do! "YAY! Go Texans!" Her & her Daddy both were pleased with the play! It's a little blurry. But, I love this picture!!
Kendall enjoyed the pom poms more than the game. But, that's okay.
It wasn't long before she crashed out on us.
The nap didn't last too long. She woke up in time for a few quick pics with Mommy.
We had some fun family time. Too bad we couldn't bring the Texans any luck, can anyone??

A few weeks ago some of my friends from Middle/High School came in town for a girls weekend. Kendall & I met up with them for lunch & then an outing to Old Mac D's Farm. It was so great to see them & finally get to meet their little girls!!
Kendall had so much fun with the girls!! Here's Kendall & Kayleigh
Stacey & Kayleigh
After lunch, the girls were all given Push Pops! Kendall wouldn't eat one last time we were at Chuys. But, this time, since her friends were eating one, She was too!!
Off to Old Mac D's farm.....
Kendall had so much fun playing with the girls. They are both 3 years old & she loved getting to play with the Big Girls!! They were so cute holding hands & running around together! Too Cute!!
Kendall was fearless & would let all the animals eat out of her hands.
The girls were adorable together.
Sayler was protective of Kendall. She was so worried when Kendall was feeding the deer. She would say, "Kendall no!". She thought it was going to bite her. It was really cute how she was looking out for little Kendall!!
I think someone was having a good time, don't you??
The girls!!
Kendall enjoyed hanging with her deer friend while the other girls rode the pony. She didn't really want to ride the pony.......been there, done that!
After the pony rides, we were off to ride the train.
It was getting pretty hot out and way past nap time. So, everyone was ready to go. All the girls gave each other hugs good-bye!
Thanks for inviting us for your fun ALL GIRLS weekend!! We enjoyed seeing ya'll & Kendall LOVED playing with her new friends!!

The table of goodies.......
Ashlee was in charge of the cupcakes & they were AWESOME!!!
I only got pictures of a few of us. So, here are a few.....
The soon-to-be Mommy of two, Melissa, & her Hubby.....
Kendall & I (Kendall was not willing to smile!! But, from the looks of it, none of the kids were!)
We all enjoyed lunch. Then, the kids couldn't be held off anymore. Big Sis-to-be, Reese, dove into the cupcakes. So, we all joined in as well. They were YUMMY!!
After dessert, it was time for the gifts!! All the hostesses put together a really cute "BIG SISTER" gift for Reese. We filled up a baby carriage with all kinds of cute dress up toys & goodies. I made her a "I'm a Big Sister" shirt too.
Melissa seemed to love all the gifts I made her too. She's having a little girl, name Camryn. But, they're gonna call her Cami.
Here's a picture of the hostesses & Melissa (& all our kiddos!)
What a fun shower! I can't wait to meet baby Cami!! She should be here any day now!!

I wasn't too hyped up about the concert, since I'm not a super rock chick! ha! But, once we got there, it was so much fun.
Just in case you don't know.........This is CREED!
I was shocked by how many of their songs I knew & liked. It was a great concert.
They had the huge flames, fireworks, etc. It was so cool!! Pretty exciting!!
Also, they reached a Guiness Book of World Records with having the most cameras present at a concert. They were filming for a new video.
Here's a picture of just a few of the camera's near stage...
Some of the other cameras were literally flying over our heads the entire time. They were so low the guys could put their hands up and touch them. So, look for me on their upcoming video!! I'll be the blonde on the 10th row, wearing a whole lot more clothes than the rest of the ladies there!! HA!! CREED was given their awards at the end of the concert. Pretty cool to be a part of history, sorta! Anyway, I was just happy to have a night out with my honey!! VERY FUN NIGHT!! Thanks Babe!!

Although the fridge didn't need cleaning, it kept her busy while I fixed lunch. She made a nice little line with the waters & counted them.
Then, carefully walked around her trail of waters, several times. Gotta love free entertainment for a 2 year old!
After our uneventful morning, it started thundering. So, we were watching the VERY light rain, if you can even call it that.
Wearing the tutu, again!!
She wanted Abby to see the rain.....
Then, Zoe had to see the rain too. (I love how you can see her sweet reflection in the glass. Awww, precious!)
After nap, Kendall wanted to look at her "Rylie Book". Rylie gave her a cute little scrapbook with a ton of pictures of the two of them. Kendall loves looking at it. She thought Tiger needed to see the pictures too.
Before I forget........Birthday shirt #5!
Gotta love an uneventful Thursday!!

She was having a blast, as you can see!! Cheeeeeeeezing it up!
Then, we went outside to say "Hi" to her friend, Rylie. ( She was out walking with some friends.) Of course Kendall was super excited to see Ryle. They were both having so much fun just being silly & running around. They were running up and down the driveway when OUR DAY TURNED UPSIDE DOWN!! Kendall fell down, hard, and scuffed up both her knees, her lip, and her ankle. Poor baby cried SO HARD!! We went inside to clean up & calm down. Poor baby! My heart hurt because she was in so much pain. She was really upset that I put a bandage on the really bad knee. I had to take it off, eventually, because she was crying even harder about the bandage being on. She kept saying, "off, Off, Off". So, it came off. We were able to run to the mall. But, then headed home. Here are a few pictures of her battle scars........
Pointing to her boo boo's! She pointed them out to me all day. So sad!! :(
Although the boo boo's are still there. I think she'll be ok. What do you think??
Playing in her room after a good nap.......
BTW- This is birthday shirt #4 & a mis-matched bow that I put with it. Apparently I forgot to make her a matching bow. Ooops!!
Oh, Did I forget to mention?? We were scheduled to have her 2 year portraits made today. We cancelled until the boo boo's are gone! :(

Kendall's 2.......in case any of you missed it!!
Kendall had her 2 year check up today. It went great. Kendall wasn't willing to really smile for me. She wasn't happy that I wouldn't let her roam around the waiting room or examination room..........WAY TOO many sick kids running around. So, she was pretty ready to get out of there.
The Dr. recommended that she take vitamins since she's not the best eater. But, he didn't seem too concerned about it. She weighs 25 lbs and is 33 inches tall........25 percentile for both. So, although she has those precious chubby cheeks, she's quite petite!!
She did get her flu shot. No tears until the band-aid was put on. She cried until I took off the band-aid. She hates them!! We go back in 30 days for the second round. But, overall a great visit!! We don't go back again until she's 3!!
Here are some cute pics I snapped at the house before our appointment.
Kendall was dancing to Sesame Street! (Also, here's B-day shirt & bow #3)

Here's our Birthday Girl !!!!
In honor of the birthday girl, I made her a weeks worth of birthday shirts. Here's shirt & bow #1......
Shirt & Bow #2...........
We let Kendall open all of the gifts from us on her Birthday Weekend (Aren't birthdays suppose to last for weeks/months/days?). Anyway, Daddy got a little carried away with the on-line shopping!! he he
Kendall's in her jammies & ready to open some gifts! ha! It was so cute. She just walked up to her gifts & started posing. We didn't ask her to. But, of course, we started snapping away!!
She was totally willing to give us some big CHEEEEEEEEEEEEZE smiles!!
She had so much fun opening all of her gifts...............
Kisses for her new Ballerina Zoe.......with tutu!!
She got a Zoe & Abby. Now, I think, she's got the entire collection (of the main characters).
Opening her American Girl Doll
She loves her American Girl Doll. She especially loves brushing her hair. The doll is precious. She came with this hideous dress on. But, not to worry, we bought her a wardrobe. So, cute outfits to come!! He He
She also received a another gift from Daddy this morning. Elmo Polli Walks.......like the lime green ones Grandy & Nana got her (that she wears all the time!!).
Getting a better view......
Kendall also received a lot of gifts in the mail. So, we've let her open a few each day.
Enjoying her new grill from Poppi & Mimi. Cooking out with Daddy!!
She loves the books her cousin Olivia sent her!! Yay!! we LOVE BOOKS at our house!!
More gifts arrived today as well........perfect timing, Grammy & PawPaw!!
She loves all of her gifts. She grabbed a few of her new toys, climbed into the recliner & shared her snack with them. Precious!!
She also loaded her toys up in her shopping cart & gave them a spin around the house.
For Kendall's real Birthday, I thought she needed another Elmo cake. I was going for quick & easy since it was just the 3 of us eating it. I bought the Elmo cake pan months ago thinking it would be fun to make someday, and it was!! I was avoiding another white cake and red icing. So, I went with chocolate & just a little red icing. Kendall LOVED it and it was a nice change!! (Just ignore Kendall's outfit......she's in her bright orange sleep shirt, again!!)
She was pretty excited about Elmo cake!!
I'm pretty sure that she enjoyed every bite of her Elmo cake, don't you???
Her Daddy thought she needed some chocolate milk to finish it off too. Gotta love a Birthday!!
Kendall had a great birthday. Along with all of the gifts, she received phone calls from all the grandparents, emails from friends, & a phone call from Rylie!! Thanks for all the sweet Birthday Wishes!! Kendall loved it all!!
Happy Birthday My Sweet 2 Year old!!

I thought this was just a precious snapshot!! So, sweet & innocent! I hope she stays that way. Maybe we'll get lucky & The Terrible Two's will skip us!!
(Just FYI- This post is totally random bits of information & pics from the past week.)
Kendall is so playful & sweet. She LOVES playing outside. So, we usually go outside each evening once Daddy gets home. Here's our Princess in a puddle! She loves playing in the puddles outside.
She seems really big into soccer now. So, I bought her a pink soccer ball.......just her size!! Also, I've looked into soccer classes. Who knows, maybe we'll try them out in the spring. Until then, she's found a soccer partner.......my decorative scarecrow!
Her vocabulary is increasing, daily. She's a little chatter box and has no problem repeating EVERYTHING she hears. Luckily, it's all been sweet, kind words. She's so polite!! She says "Thank you" after almost everything you give her or do for her. She always comes up and say's "Open Please", "More Please", "Come play please", etc.
Kendall now speaks mostly in phrases. Here are some of the more fun ones:
- "Thank you, Daddy" -She hasn't learned that she can just say, "Thank you" once after we do something for her. She prefers to say "Thank you, Daddy" over & over again. For instance, she was brushing her teeth & wanted the water turned on. So, Jimmy turned it on for her. He then got to hear her say "Thank you, Daddy" about 8 times. BTW- She LOVES brushing her teeth.......making her Grandy (An orthodontist) proud!
-"help you"- when she wants me to help her.......because I say, "Do you want Mommy to help you?"
-"I pooted" -She thinks this is SO FUNNY!! Her Daddy taught her that one!!
- "I Da DE!" (I did it!) Kendall is really into climbing!! She loves to climb onto my chair, then onto the countertop, and then say, "I da de" (I did it!).
She also loves to climb onto the coffee table & say "I da de!"
- "STUCK" -She loves to say this anytime she gets herself stuck.....which she does a LOT! Her favorite "Stuck" place to play is inside our bar stools or tall kitchen chairs
-A cute conversation Kendall & I had........The other day Kendall brought me a little toy. We always ask her to name what she's holding or playing with. So, I said, "Who is this?" She said, "Boy". I said, "What's the boy's name?" Her reply, "E-F". ..............and that's what she's been calling him every since. Creative isn't she? ha!
-"Bye Bye, Mommy. Love you too, Mwwww, Mwwww, Mwwww" - Kendall loves to leave the room, close doors, say this and blow me kisses. She can do this for hours!
Potty training hasn't really started. I guess that's probably next on the list. But, She has started to tell me when she has a wet diaper. It seems to happen at the worst possible times. She says, "uh-oh wet diaper". Now, I just need to get her to say, "uh-oh, need to go potty!!"
My TUTU smart lil girl!!.........
Kendall has a new LOVE relationship with her TUTU. I basically had to bribe her to put it on the first time. I told her I'd give her 1 M&M if she put it on. After that she wore it, no problem. So, the other day, I was making a tutu and she said, "I make Tutu" (because I had asked her if she wanted to make a tutu too.) Anyway, she meant that she wanted to wear her tutu. So, I get the tutu. We put it on and then she starts saying something I don't quite understand. She obviously knew exactly what she was talking about. So, I told her to show me. She drags me into the kitchen, points to the top of the counter, and I quickly realize she's saying "En-m-n's"....M&M's. I'm thinking to myself, "OH MY GOSH, she totally relates wearing her tutu to getting M&M's........BAD MOM!!" Anyway, of course I have to give her one for being so stinking smart!!
Day 1 of the TUTU:
Day 2 of the TUTU:
Next day, Kendall says "I make Tutu". So, we go get her tutu. She then says "Elmo make tutu". Apparently she wanted Elmo to wear the tutu.
So, I help her to put the tutu on Elmo. Then, I hear "Elmo En-m-n's".
Yep, she thinks Elmo needs an M&M for wearing the tutu. So, I get 2 M&M"s one for Kendall & I for Elmo.
Then, Kendall runs into my sewing room to give Elmo his M&M.
I look over and she's placed the M&M in Elmo's mouth. My sweet girl was willing to share!
Awwwww. It didn't last long. Once she realized Elmo wasn't gonna eat his M&M, she ate it. Anyway, she managed to wear her tutu the rest of the day.....and loved every minute of it.
Day 3 of the TUTU:
Kendall says, "I make TUTU". Mommy says, "You can wear your tutu if you want. But, you're not getting any M&M's"...........mean Mommy, I know!! But, she was okay with that. Zoe & Abby Cadabby (Sesame Street characters that she NOW LOVES!!) both wear tutu's. So, she LOVES wearing her tutu too. She wanted to wear her new Zoe shirt too. It's a little big. But, she didn't care!
Day 4 of TUTU:
Kendall say's something like "I me TUTU". So, off to get the tutu again. Yes, she was wearing a navy dress that day. So, we just put the tutu over it!! She LOVES her tutu!!
Kendall is not a huge fan of naps. But, she usually doesn't put up a fight. I always say, "Kendall are you ready for a nap?' Once in a blue moon I get this reaction........She runs to the chair and says "No nap, Mommy!"
Apparently nap time is not happening early enough these days.
Day 1 falling asleep at lunch.
Day 2 falling asleep in her chair
Day 3 falling asleep at lunch, again!
Kendall is super active now a days. So, we really wanted to get her involved in something that would keep her moving. So, we quit Kindermusik & have been testing out other classes. We tested out The Little Gym on Tuesday. She LOVED it! She was a little timid at first. But, once she was on her own, she was all over the place.
She loved the balance beam, was fearless, and practically ran across it. (Hopping onto the beam)
Once we realized that she was suppose to be stepping over the snake, we slowed down.
On Wednesday, we tested out a Toddler dance class. Kendall loves dancing! So, I thought this would be perfect. We were so excited. We went out with Nana & bought Kendall her first leotard. Kendall was excited to wear it because she was dressed like Zoe! Here she is the morning of the class......dancing in the living room. It was so cute.
At the class, the kids did scooter, parachute, play-type activities. Kendall cried the entire time we were there & would not even participate! It was a nightmare. We actually left before the class was over. I'm not sure what was wrong or what she was scared of. But, she wouldn't do anything.
So, we won't be signing up for the dance class, which is okay. I think I'd rather sign her up for dance once she's older and she actually gets to learn dance steps. So, we are going to sign up for The Little Gym. Yay!! We're excited. Kendall starts next week!
Kendall loves crawling up in Mommy or Daddy's lap for some ice cream. It's usually Daddy's lap. But, this particular night, I was the one with the ice cream. Yum!!!!!
Kendall weighs about 23 lbs. But, we'll get an official weight tomorrow at her 2 year appointment. She still loves getting on the scales daily!
Kendall is still not eating really well. Some days she'll eat. Some days, she'll eat very, very little. Ranch dressing has become her new condiment of choice. So, that's been somewhat helpful in getting her to eat. But, It looks like last night, she tried to hide her green beans in her ranch dressing! Hmmmm, I guess I'm gonna have to start trying something new!!
Kendall is more loving now than ever!! She is constantly coming up to Jimmy & I and giving us hugs & kisses. She always insists on giving her toys hugs & kisses too. Her new thing, when she falls down or gets a boo boo. She comes up to me and says "Mommy kiss it" and she wants me to kiss her boo boo. She's just so stinking Lovable!!!Here are some more cute pictures of our little princess dancing around the house!!
Happy Birthday Little Princess!!

Kendall had a blast clowning around with Nana!
Having a serious discussion with Grandy....
Grandy's digging into Kendall's mac & cheese while she's busy chatting away. Ha! Finally, a picture of just JImmy & I. It's been a while! Happy Belated Birthday, Babe!! Thanks Grandy & Nana for dinner & all the great gifts! Jimmy (& I) really appreciated it!
PS. Grandy- Kendall says thanks for the ice cream!!

This is what her invitations looked like (minus the contact info.)
This is Kendall's Birthday outfit that I made her........
Once the party started, the first 30-40 minutes was a free explore time. The kids got to roam around and play, which they prefer anyway!! They had so much fun!!
Some of Kendall's friends that were at the party.......
Smiles with The Family.......But, just a quick one. Gotta go play!
Then, the kids got to ride the roller coaster. This was SO COOL. It was just like a mini roller coaster. The kids LOVED it!! Here are the girls getting ready to GO!!
......and they're off!!
Raegan & Josh on the roller coaster!! (No one seemed to smile until they were actually going down the roller coaster! ha!)
After the kids played for about 30-40 minutes, the party coordinator, started doing planned activities.
1st up: Bouncy balls!!
Dancing around with Nana.....
Next........the noodles!!
Then, on to the next activity................
The princess wands & magical wands for the MEN!
Time for bubbles!!!!
The scooter rides
It was time to go back to the party room for Pizza, Presents, Cake, & Ice Cream!! But, before that, here are some cute pics that Grandy & Ashlee (stole 'em from your blog! he he!) took too.........
So, we all started heading back to the party room. Kendall, Lisa (the party coordinator), & I were the first ones back there. Kendall ran right up to the presents and started ripping into them. We had talked A LOT about it being HER party. So, I guess she KNEW those gifts were hers. I just hope when we go to her friends parties in a few weeks, she knows that the gifts are not hers! Ha!
Opening the first gift..............Poor lil Morgan didn't even get to see his gift being opened!!
We finally talked Kendall and her friend, Kate, into sitting on the bench so everyone could see her opening her gifts!Jaiden's checking out the gifts.......
Kendall trying to sneak into her M&M's and Kate looking up thinking, "Are you really gonna let her eat some??" SO CUTE!!
Kendall had a blast opening up all her gifts. She opened every single one of them. (I won't bore you with all the pics!) Lisa said she was shocked. She said at most parties, they'll open 1 or 2 and then want to go play. Not Kendall!! She enjoyed opening every single one of them!!
Now, on to the food!!!
Kendall was excited because she got to sit in a booster seat. She even wore a party hat, briefly,.........only because her friend, ERNIE was on it!
A family pic..........awwwww!!
Now, time for the cake.......
Everyone was singing Happy Birthday.....
Getting ready to blow out the candle......
I think I'll let Mommy do it!
Finally, do we get to eat the cake NOW?
Here's all of Kendall's sweet friends........
Asher is always willing to smile
Asher, Jamie, & Jude
Owen & Family (Owen was way too busy enjoying the cake to look up and smile!)
Chad & Jaiden
Charlotte & Family
Cady & Family
Josh & Raegan were way too excited about ice cream to smile. But, their Mommy & Daddy were more than willing to smile!!
Andi & Savannah
Morgan & Family
Kate & Tiffany
Rylie & Family
Grandy, Birthday Girl, & Nana!
Kisses & Hugs for Nana!! Thanks for coming to my party!
It was time for the party to be over. So, all of the kiddos got a Sesame Street goody bag. I had so much fun putting these together. They were full of Sesame Street everything...... coloring books, stickers, rings, plastic figures, crayons, cookies, candy, snacks, etc. I think the kids really enjoyed them too!! Aren't they cute!?
Thank you to everyone for coming to her party, for making her Birthday such a special day, and for being such sweet friends to Kendall. We appreciate each & every one of you!!
